.
Running Total - oh I don't know, loads ...

FFS Friday

I'm amusing myself logging in here for the first time today early evening whilst scoffing a "Divine" Double Choc-Chip Muffin at 387cals per 100g. No idea how much it weighed as I'd inhaled it by the time I remembered I should have weighed it!!!!!!! I've had a bad day so far so thought what the hell.
.
Breakfast - Rice Crispies (180cals)
.
Lunch - All day meeting at Waterloo and we were fed M&S sarnies for lunch. I had a chicken one which was still 470 cals, crisps 195cals, orange/rasperry juice 105cals. Blimey.
.
Dinner - Salmon with pasta in an orange creme fraiche sauce with cherry tomatoes. 293cals for the salmon, 51cals for the creme fraiche and 211cals for the pasta. Total of 555cals for dinner. And then I started scoffin the muffin! Will log onto their website to see how much the thing weighed and report back :-)
.
Total - 1505 and that's WITHOUT the muffin! AAAAAAAAAARGH!

Thursday

Breakfast - Porridge, at Aimee's request, with 1/2 an apple and a tspn of golden syrup (250cals)
.
Meeting at Waterloo til lunchtime and I avoided M&S on the way home! Went to Greggs and got tomato soup and a roll. Charlie's just gone out to lunch and I've asked him to get me some "...grapes, not chocolate, grapes...I really don't want chocolate, just get me some grapes" but he says he's going to get chocolate and put it on my desk to test my resistance! (300cals for lunch)
.
So he bought me some grapes back but he also bloody bought a box of those Sainsburys Taste The Difference Triple-Choc Cookies. At 104cals each. I had three :-(
.
Dinner - I had the sticky chicken couscous thing again as it was lovely. Tried to shortcut the cooking by stirfrying the chicken/marmalade/mustard mix but it wasn't as nice as grilled, still tasted lovely tho! (396cals)
.
Total - 250+300+312+396 = 1258cals.
Hmmnnn... so without the biccies that would have been an officially good day at 946cals. Pants!

Wednesday, 28 January 2009

Trying to have a better day...

Breakkie - 2x toast, bertolli & honey (236cals)
.
Lunch - I've just had an Innocent Tasty Veg Pot "Moroccan Squash Tagine" with giant couscous and fresh coriander and it was bloody lovely! (296cals)
.
Pub - 2 white wine & lemonades, bag of Mini Chedders (260cals) and picked at nachos
.
Dinner - smal portion of chilli con carne (175cals for the rice and a guess at 100cals for the sauce which was homemade with mincemeat, tomatos etc)
.
Total - 967cals minus the nachos and wine. Much better day :-) Resisted the biccies at work which I'm pleased about

Tuesday, 27 January 2009

OK so I'm having a bad week......

Breakfast - 2 toast with over half a tin of baked beans. (91cals per toast, 27cals per Bertolli, 151cals per half tin of beans but I'm rounding that up to 200cals.)
Total for breakkie 436cals. Ooops.
.
Lunch - I was at Waterloo for a meeting this morning so popped into M&S foodhall and bought rare beef & horseradish sandwich (395cals) and then I went to look for the yogurts. I found them but they were on a lower shelf. At eye level were the profiterole desserts. I looked at them, picked up a yoghurt, held it in my hand but it juuuuuust didn't feel right. So I put it back and picked up a profiterole dessert which was far more ergonomically comfortable in my hand, just as if it belonged there. 448cals. Ah well.
Total for lunch - 843cals.
.
Running total for the day - 1279cals. I did hear on the radio this morning that the average woman should be consuming 2000 calories per day to ensure she gets all the right nutrients :-)
.
Picked on Aimee's tea, in fact prob had a very small portion rather than just picked. Pasta bolognese, homemade sauce rather than Dolmio. I've worked out 100cals for the pasta plus 20 for the sauce.
.
Yoga. Knackered, didn't work very hard.
.
Snack - thought about toast and honey on the way home mmmnnnnn. But had carrots, melbe toast & hummous. 173cals for the hummous plus 78cals for the melba toast. Total 251cals.
.
Total for the day - 1650cals!!!! That's the most I've had in 3 weeks! Really could do with some chocolate... Maltesers... Sainsbury's Taste The Difference Belgian Choc Truffles... Penguin biscuits...... Aaaaaargh!

Monday, 26 January 2009

Muscle weighs more than fat, right? ;-)

Plus 1lb this morning, so back up to 12st :-(
However, I've done a lot of exercise in the last week so I reckon the fat's turning into muscle (obviously, what other reason could there be?!) as I feel better physically and my clothes are looser... but I've put on a pound! I did think last weeks loss was a bit of a fluke as I actually ate next to nothing on the Sunday whereas yesterday I ate quite a lot plus a roast quite late on in the day.
Breakfast - Rice crispies (180cals)
Snack - Banana (95cals)
Lunch - Covent Garden leek & potato soup (150cals) & multiseed roll (178cals), Yoghurt (112cals)
Oooops... 2x Cadburys Heroes Bourneville choccies (47cals each according to t'internet)
Dinner - sticky chicken & mango couscous mmmmmnnnnn......! 369cals per portion apparently but I also had half of Aimee's small portion because even though I thought it was delicious, she hated it! 500cals. Oooops :-)
.
Running Total - 1309cals

Sunday, 25 January 2009

Sunday

Breakfast - Rice Crispies (180cals)
4 & 1/2 mile soggy walk with Mum
Lunch - Porridge with 1/2 apple and a tspn of golden syrup (250cals incl the apple etc)
Snack - roll with cheese and ham (178cals for the roll, 19 for the ham, 50g at a guess for the cheese. Total of 248cals)
Running Total - 680cals
Dinner - Roast pork, veg, 4 small roast spuds. NO idea of calories! Say 420cals to round it up to a days total of ... 1100cals? Weigh day tomorrow, I bet i've not lost another 5lbs. Hopefully lost a couple but will be happy if I've not put any of those 5 back on.
.
Total for the day - 1100 cals

Saturday, 24 January 2009

Saturday

Breakfast - 2x toast & marmite (256cals)
Lunch - egg sarnie with 2x toast (325cals)
Feeling crap so likely to be a crap food day :-)
Small bowl of melon
Cinema then curry. About a coffee mugs worth of sweet popcorn (405cals per 100g, I reckon I had about 50g, so 200cals) then behaved myself with the curry.
.
Total for the day - 781 not incl the curry, I reckon 1200 in total (420 for the curry; I shared a rice and veg and had most of one meat dish to myself. No bread or bharji's or any added extras!)

Friday, 23 January 2009

The Wrong Trousers!!!!

In the midst of a clothes crisis this morning with me chucking clothes round the room wondering what the hell to wear to work, I tried on a pair of trousers a size smaller than my normal size and they fit!!!! So I'm very pleased about that :-)
.
Breakfast - Rice crispies (180cals)
.
Snack - Fruisli bar (118cals)
.
Lunch - Jacket potato with tuna/pepper/mayo filling. Was loads but apart from the trousers I'm feeling pathetic and sorry for myself and wanted some comfort food, same with the Fruisli bar, I wasn't hungry, just comfort eating . I'll say 400cals for the jack-pot. No idea really.
.
Big OOOOOPS.... super-yummy left-over cakes from a meeting, I had a choc-fudge-shortbread triangle, lovely but about 150 calories and that's probably on the low side. I did look at The Quality Street and they're 147cals per 4 sweets so I put them back!
.
Dinner - Chicken & veg pasta in creme fraiche sauce. (133cals for the chicken, 60g of pasta at 211cals & 51cals for the creme fraiche. Total 395cals).
.
Total : 1243cals

Thursday, 22 January 2009

HELP!!!!!!!! There's biscuits and a tub of Cadbury's Hero's in the office!

Breakfast - 1xegg (91cals I think) scrambled egg plus 2x bacon (37.5cals each, so 75cals). NO TOAST!!! Lets see how long I last with no carbs!
Total for breakkie - 166cals
.
Snack - Banana. I held out til 11am! (95cals)
.
Lunch - Mocassins, same as yesterday zzzzzzzzz...... plus bowl of chopped fruit same as yesterday (354+44cals)
Total for lunch - 398cals
.
I'm managing to resist the chocs so far......
.
Ooops.... 1x choc chip biscuit during mid-afternoon low point (68cals per biscuit according to the pack)
.
Dinner - salmon with rice in a ginger/sherry/soy tomato sauce with shallots & pepper. 131g salmon, so 187cals according to my "Nutriscales"!! And 60g of rice, 222cals. Plus 45 cals for the tinned tomatos and I'll add 20cals for the veg & olive oil .
Total for dinner 474cals.
.
1 square dark choc (52cals)
.
Total for the day : 1253cals

Wednesday, 21 January 2009

Breakfast - 2x Weetabix with semi-skimmed milk and 1/3 tspn sugar (127cals for the 2x Weetabix, plus 200ml milk at a guess, 90cals plus 5cals for the sugar. Total 222cals))
.
Snack - a bowl of chopped strawberries, melon and grapes (44cals, based on http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/ calories per serving)
.
Really hungry for some reason but held out til lunch which was a pair of beige moccasins. Well, that's what it looked like. I had 2 wholemeal pitta bread with salad, a bit of chicken, a scraping of bertolli and some low fat french dressing. (127cals per pitta, I reckon half a breasts worth of chicken so 100cals? So 354cals) Oh and a 118cal yoghurt.
Total for lunch : 472cals
.
Ooops... 1x choc biscuit (85cals, blimey)
.
1/2km swim (20 lengths) whilst Aimee had her swimming lesson.
.
Dinner - veggie pasta in Dolmio chilli sauce. I used 60g of pasta, it looked like a tiny portion but it was enough. (210cals for the pasta, 87 for the sauce according to the packet. 297cals in total)
.
Total for the day : 1120cals

Tuesday, 20 January 2009

Tuesday

Breakfast - 2x toast with Bertolli & Marmite (256cals)
.
Snack - All day meeting and lunch wasn't going to be til 1pm so I had a banana about 1130. (95cals)
.
Lunch - 5 quarters of sandwiches, a small sausage roll and a handfull of grapes. Thank god there were no cakes or crisps, I have zero willpower! In fact, thank god I was in the meeting as someone showed me a go-round email on his Blackberyy saying there were birthday cakes in the kitchen!!!!! I reckon 300cals for the sarnies.
.
Aimee has Chloe round for tea and I made them chicken nuggets and there were a few left over so I ate those! I had 6; same as before they're homemade so juct chicken breast, breadcrumbs and grating of chedder and parmesan cheese. But I would have had something about now anyway. Going to really hard yoga class tonight so need the energy :-) No idea on calories so going to allow 150cals as they were healthy ones, does that sound fair? in fact, will Google it in a bit.
.
Dinner - another sodding chicken/veg stirfry. 217cals for the noodles and 138cals for the chicken. Plus veg & olive oil, I'd guess 50cals, so 405cals
.
Total : 1206cals.

Monday, 19 January 2009

WAHAAAAAY!!! <...smug emoticon...>

Got on the scales this morning and just by watching what I eat a bit I have lost FIVE LBS in the week!!! I had to get on the scales twice to make sure! I was 12-4 last Monday (ask Mandy, whenever she asks me how much I weigh, I always say "about 12-4" and last Monday I was exactly that) and this morning I was 11-13!!! That's the first time I've been under 12stone in over a year!!! Wahoooooooo!!!
.
Breakfast - Dust (zero calories). Only kidding... Rice crispies (180cals)
.
OK, so I couldn't resist birthday cakes at work, I had one jam doughnut. But I resisted for 23 minutes after the email came out whereas usually I'd be first at the trough! Google search shows 287cals per 100g of M&S doughnut, it was a small one so I'm halving-ish that, 150cals.
.
Lunch - Boots Shapers chicken tikka flatbread (263cals). And I'll have the apple I bought in (80cals)
Total for lunch - 343cals
.
Snack at 5pm - 1 toast, bertolli & marmite (120cals). Starving... and going swimming when Aimee goes to Brownies at 6 and there's no way I'd have got through til dinner without something.
.
20 lengths swim whilst Aimee was at Brownies
.
Dinner - pasta (352cals), bacon (2 slices, 75cals according to the pack), creme fraiche (51cals) and veg. Total 478cals. Was masses, less pasta next time but 100g is what's recommended as a portion so that's what I went with.
.
Total for the day : 1271cals

Sunday, 18 January 2009

Sunday

Breakfast - 2x toast & jam
.
Lunch - 2x egg omelette with 2x ham, 2x mushrooms and a grating of cheese
.
3-mile walk round Chilworth with Aimee and Gogga today.
.
Snacks - 4, yes FOUR (!), Ginger Nut biscuits... at 53cals each. A whopping waste of 212cals then. Blimey. In fact I only stuck at four as I got Mum to take the pack off me and chuck it. Well, she said she was going to chuck it but it went into her house with her when I dropped her home... She had one when I had my four. I think I have a ginger fetish; ginger cake, ginger biscuits, ginger men...
Just had carrots, melba toast (6x 13cals) and 1/5 tub of humous as well as I will be doing Aimee-stuff til about 8 and so won't eat til half past.
.
Not really hungry enough for "proper" dinner so just had a yoghurt and banana and that's enough. Will work out cals this weekend in a bit. Getting on the scales tomorrow!

Saturday, 17 January 2009

Saturday (Aimee weekend)

Breakfast - Rice Crispies (180cals)
.
Lunch - Pasta bolognese. Will work out the calories later, I have no idea at the mo. I had far less of a bowl-full that I would have normally done. Also half a tin of peaches.
.
Snack - Jam sarnie, Aimee's fault, she's permanantly hungry and wanted a sarnie. I couldn't resist.
.
I'm currently doing Aimee's tea, she's asked for fishfingers, chips and peas. I got her to count out exactly how many chips and fishfingers she wanted (9 chips and 2 fishfingers!) so that's ALL I'm cooking so I can't have any! I bought some grapes so whilst she's eating tea, I'll have those. Can't wait.
.
Dinner will be salmon and veg and maybe couscous depending on calorie running total once I've worked it out!
.
Right... I didn't touch any of Aimee's chips! I had rice with dinner as I was hungry, I measured out what should be a serving of rice, 50g, and had that with 125g salmon and veg and it was LOADS. Also had 1square of choc.

Friday, 16 January 2009

Pants :-(

Breakfast - Rice crispies (180cals)
.
Snack - banana (143cals) Tried to resist but I'm hungry. Seems ridiculous to worry about eating a pice of fruit because of it's calorie content when fruit's good for you :-(
.
Lunch - Covent Garden tomato & basil soup (132cals) plus granary roll (153cals)
Total for lunch : 285cals (so about as much as a Shapers sarnie from Boots then!)
.
B*llocks. Someone bought cakes in for their birthday. I had 2 slices of Mr.Kipling's chocolate slices at 132 cals each (according to the packet). I would have only had one slice but they come cellophane wrapped in two's and it wouldn't do to take one and leave an opened packet (ahem). 264cals then. But it's "that" week of the month so I'm allowed some chocolate aren't I!!
:-)
Oooops... I needed some change for the carpark for Aimee's hospital visit this afternoon so popped into the shop to get some tic-tacs and walked out with some tic-tacs...... and a Cadbury's Creme Egg :-( It is SO unfair the way they put them on display just as you walk in the shop and at the tills. I am not to blame for their crafty marketing tecniques. However, I am entirely to blame for eating the damn thing... as I opened it, I thought "I have a choice here..." and proceeded to eat the whole thing in half a nano-second! Just gonna Google the calories, hold on... 150cals. Less than I thought but still 150 too much! Def having a choc craving today.
.
Total for the day so far is 1022cals of which 414cals are from chocolate, what a waste! I'd only be on 608cals if I'd not had the choc. Healthy dinner coming up.
.
OK. I lied. I had 2x toast and marmite for tea. That's hardly healthy. 236 cals. Plus a 284ml bottle of Stella 115cals. Pants.
.
Total for the day : 1373cals

Thursday, 15 January 2009

Attempting to start reducing intake, day 1...

Breakfast - 1x egg scrambled egg (89cals), 1x toast (91cals), bertolli (27cals).
Total 207cals.
.
Lunch - Boots Shapers chicken & salad roll (257cals), yoghurt (151cals) and orange juice (142cals). I've not eaten the yoghurt and have only had half the orange juice and they're sat on my desk together with a banana and an apple. Now I'm looking at it all thinking that's all quite healthy stuff but there's about 400 calories in the lot! Boots do a Meal Deal and the roll and yoghurt would have been more expensive on their own so I got the juice as well to make up the 3 items in their Meal Deal. I'm going to eat the yoghurt later on when I get peckish as I've eaten the roll and am not hungry right now.
Total for lunch : 550cals. Shed loads :-(
.
Please note I refrained from a midmorning snack but had 2 cups of tea instead!! Woah! (10cals)
.
Dinner – Mark’s birthday so Aimee and I met him in Pizza Hut (Aimee’s choice because of the Ice Cream Factory!). This was going to be a challenge but I had salad starter rather than cheesy garlic bread and salmon & spinach pasta bake rather than pizza. Oh and a couple of small glasses of wine. So I’m saying 500 calories which is probably light but I’m giving myself some negative calories here for NOT HAVING ANY DESSERT!!! Oh yes… I did NOT have pud! Ask Mark! Ask Aimee! AND they do profiteroles which are my absolute favourite and I was sorely tempted but resisted!!! I’d pat myself on the back if I could reach
:-D
It was interesting today to notice the only time when I was hungry. Usually I’d have a mid morning snack but I wasn’t hungry (just bored at work!) so didn’t have anything. For lunch I had the roll and wasn’t then hungry til about 3 when I had the yoghurt. But I got hungry at about 530pm, really really shaky-hungry, but held out til Pizza Hut. I clearly need something about 430. Will try that tomorrow.
.
Total for the day : 1267cals

Wednesday, 14 January 2009

I nearly fell over!!

Breakfast - 2x toast & marmite on the way to work (236cals)
.
Snack - I wasn't hungry but had a Fruisli bar as it was sat on my desk! (118cals)
.
Lunch!!! - I went to Boots, haven't been there for ages and thought I'd have a look at what I would usually get for lunch, it would have been something like this... Shapers chicken wrap (279cals), Walkers S&V crisps (an unbelievable 263cals) and a tiny strawberry mousse cheesecake (273cals) so a shocking 815cals just for lunch... and that's before the packet of Minstrels would have fallen into my basket!!!!!! So probably 1000cals then... EEEEEEEEK!!!
So today I had the wrap (279cals) with a greek yoghurt (151cals).
Total for lunch : 430cals. That still sounds a lot :-(
.
Snack - 1x Braeburn apple (80cals... that is SO unfair).
.
420pm- I wasn't hungry when I had that apple an hour ago, just bored. I'm craving something sweet now, proper sweet, like chocolate... mmmnnnnnn... How on earth do I get rid of this sugar craving? And DON'T suggest grapes Mum! Aaaaargh!
.
Between getting home and taking Aimee swimming I was starving and had the crusts from Aimee's ham sandwich. I reckon that's about 1/4 of a slice of bread (25cals)
.
Dinner... aaaaaaargh :-( :-( I made risotto with chicken and veg. I weighed out the single "portion" of Arborio rice and the packet says 279cals!! WHY????? :-( So, 100g chicken (157cals) and a shallot, pepper, asparagus, leek and chestnut mushrooms. I looked at cals on the olive oil, 41cals per teaspoon!!!!!!!!! I cooked it all but didn't eat it all as there was loads, I guess I ate 3/4. Total for dinner : 358cals
.
Total for the day : 1247cals

Tuesday, 13 January 2009

Tuesday

Breakfast - Rice crispies (180cals)
.
Snack - Fruisli (118cals)
.
I'm HUNGRY... and still an hour til midday :-(
.
Lunch - Covent Garden veg soup (163cals), bread roll (153cals), Activia yoghurt (118cals). So a grand total of 434 cals which is way over a third of my daily allowance for a bloody boring lunch!
.
Oh dear... had a portion of chicken nuggets and chips when Aimee had her tea. I wasn't going to, honest, but there were loads left over :-( They were home made chicken nuggets so just chicken breast, flour, egg, grating of cheddar & parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. The chips were Auntie Bessie's and bloody lovely. I had about 8. I have no idea how many calories so will make the running total up to 1000 (so about 250cals). Oh bugger... I also had half Aimee's fudge bar (115 cals for the whole tiny bar!) plus a few of her sweeties, will say 80 cals. Gawd.... I'm not enjoying this honesty policy!
.
Going to yoga later, will have something sensible afterwards. Sawdust perhaps... slightly more interesting than dust!
.
Dinner after yoga, wasn't that hungry so was sensible (I think!) and had carrots & melba toast with humous (222cals)
.
Total : 1302 cals

Monday, 12 January 2009

Weigh In

Got on the scales this morning and I weigh exactly what I thought I did, the same as before christmas and 1 stone more than my pre-pregnancy weight which is what I want to get back to. I guess putting on just one stone in eight years isn't that bad but I'd still like to lose it
.
Breakfast - Rice crispies (180 cals)
.
Snack - 1 banana (143 calories, that's an annoyingly huge amount of calories for something not very interesting)
.
Lunch - Covent Garden leek & potato soup (150cals) plus bread roll (153cals), Danone Activia yoghurt (118cals). Total for lunch 421cals
.
Snack - 1/5 pot humous plus melba toast and carrots. 222cals. That is SO unfair :-(
.
Dinner - salmon fillet and onion/pepper/courgette/leek ratatouille (231 cals for the salmon and 45 for the tomatoes, so 276cals). Oh, almost forgot the square of choc I'm currently nibbling (52cals) and ... errr ... the tiny cake at work. It really was small, finger buffet stylee; I'm saying 100cals for that.
.
Total for the day : 1394 cals :-(
Exercise : 20min swim whilst Aimee was at Brownies; completely knackering, I am so unfit!!

Sunday, 11 January 2009

Sunday bloody Sunday

Breakfast - 2x toast (182cals), Bertolli (54cals), Marmite, 1x cuppa (5cals for the sugar)
Total for breakfast : 241cals
.
Lunch - garlic & ginger prawn stirfry with noodles, onion, courgette & pepper. 217 cals for the noodles, 60 for the prawns, I'm saying zero for the veg (until someone tells me otherwise!) and there's 3cals in 5mls on soy sauce; god, there's calories in everything. Also a petit filous yoghurt, 104cals.
Total for lunch : 374cals.
.
I square Lindt dark choc (52cals)
.
Snack - Only 4 Jacobs Cream Crackers (34, yes THIRTY FOUR calories PER cracker!!) 27cals of Bertolli and 25g cheese (41cals). Total 204cals :-(
.
Dinner - Jacket potato (250g, 136cals per 100g, so 340cals), with Bertolli (27cals), 50g of cheese (82cals) and 2 sausages (123cals each, so 246cals). Total for dinner... 695cals!!!! Oh, and one of Aimee's Opal Fruits or Starburst or whatever they're called!
.
Running Total for the day : 1566cals. Hmmnnn.... I thought I had a good day, this isn't easy :-(

Saturday, 10 January 2009

Saturday

Breakfast - rice crispies with milk and 1/3 tsp sugar. I can't believe I did this but I weighed out the amount they recommend as a portion (30g)!! It's about what I would have anyway. 180cals.
.
Am resisting the urge to snack before lunchtime.
.
Cuppa tea with 1/3 sugar - 1 so far. I've just Googled calories in sugar and there are 15 calories (& 0.5 WW points) in a tsp of sugar.
.
Lunch - I made a 1x egg omelette with onion, courgette, pepper, mushroom and 2 slices of ham (38 cals for the ham plus 89 cals for the egg, so 127 cals, not bad. Notice I ignored any possible calories in the veg!) Petit Filous yoghurt (104 cals).
.
My 3 sisters dropped out of this afternoons planned walk one by one for a variety of excuses... errrrr... reasons, so I traipsed the 3&1/2 miles by myself, it was beautiful. Classic mistake of stopping in at The Lucky Duck for a cuppa ... and had a slice of their ginger cake! That's Mandy's fault; I wouldn't have eaten anything if she'd been there! About a gazillion calories I should think (will say 200cals, I haven't a clue). Going out for a curry tonight. Oh dear.
.
So 621cals today so far... before dinner anyway!
.
Lovely curry and a couple of drinks. Loads of calories tho :-(

Friday, 9 January 2009

Dust for dinner

Breakfast - 2xegg scrambled egg, 1x toast, Bertolli spread (Total 296cals)
Snack - Petit filous (104cals) and yummy Kellogs Rice Crispie Caramel bar (151cals & 40% sugar!) I wasn't hungry but wanted a sugar fix.
3x cuppa tea in total all day
Total Cals so far : 551 and it's not even lunchtime yet!
.
Lunch. Huh... Oh dear... Went to M&S as it's closest and I was busy. Reduced fat hummous & carrots (156cals), poached salmon & watercress sarnie on 2x vrown bread (355cals), large fruit salad (130cals but counts as 3 of your 5-a-day!). So a total of 641cals. Just for lunch :-(
.
Total Cals : 1192. That's it, I'm having dust for dinner!
.
Blew the budget tonight with a Sainsburys Thai red chicken curry and sticky rice microwave meal. My excuse being it's soooo cold that anywhere in this house other than in front of the fire, you turn to ice, including the kitchen, so I physically couldn't cook :-) I'm not telling you how many calories were in it but it wasn't the negative number I was looking for! One square of 52cals yummy Lindt choc also inhaled this evening.

Thursday, 8 January 2009

Day 2

My god, I can get onto here at work!!!
.
Breakfast - 1 egg (89cals), 1 toast (91cals) with Bertolli (27cals per tsp) Total = 207cals
Snack - Fruisli (118cals)

.
oooops.... just succumed to the biscuits at work, one custard cream sized shortbread consumed!!
.
I had nothing else to eat between the naughty biscuit and dinner but was starving and it took a lot to not eat anything. Looks like I need something late afternoon if I'm eating later than about half five. Had one more cuppa in the afternoon.
.
Dinner (with Aimee) - mustard chicken and carrot & celeriac mash with mange tout. (Really suprised Aimee liked and ate all the mash but she said she only liked it a little bit!). No idea of cals for dinner. Nothing in veg surely (Mum?). Also had half a tin of peaches in fruit juice (89cals according to the tin, for half a tin!)
.
I really fancy something sweet (proper sweet, peaches don't count!) so I might have a square of dark chocolate later (woah, steady on!), I just checked the packaging, it's only 52cals per square! I might have two squares...... woooooooheeee!!!
.
One petit filous yoghurt (104cals). Have managed to ignore the choc, and Kellogs Rice Crispie Caramel Squares, so far... until just now, one square of Lindt dark choc, 52cals.
